Dukosi has been selected a PACE Pilot Award 2025 Finalist
We are thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected as a finalist for the Automotive News PACE Pilot award! This prestigious award recognizes groundbreaking innovations within the automotive industry that are poised to make a significant impact on the market. We are immensely proud of our unique cell monitoring system (DKCMS), and are honored by this recognition. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of Dukosi’s employees for their hard work and dedication!
As the world progresses towards greater electrification and strives for net-zero emissions, consumer acceptance of EVs is experiencing steady growth. Simultaneously, the market for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is expanding rapidly, driven by global governments and organizations seeking to enhance the adoption of renewable energy to achieve their 2030 climate objectives. However, with the projected end-of-life of over 100 million EV batteries within the coming decade, alongside the expansion of BESS, the development of sustainable battery designs has become an economic, social, and environmental necessity.
Why does DKCMS matter? One of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers has stated that current EV batteries are “just too heavy,” making vehicles “not compatible” with sustainability targets. Dukosi’s groundbreaking, contactless Cell Monitoring System (DKCMS) is revolutionizing batteries by enhancing performance, reliability, scalability, and sustainability across the battery value chain in electric vehicles and energy storage applications. Our solution can reduce battery weight by several kilograms, depending on the size, architecture, and configuration. By implementing this technology in a standard EV battery, the component count can be reduced by a factor of ten, reliability can be improved by up to two times, and the industry’s progression towards a fully sustainable battery value chain can be facilitated.
Our partners have been developing their next-generation solutions using the Dukosi Evaluation Kit and production intent chips over the past year, enabling their engineers to engage with our solution and validate our solution in their systems across a diverse range of applications. .
For 26 years, the Automotive News PACE Awards have heralded the industry’s best commercialized game-changing innovations. Each year, an independent panel of judges reviews specific innovations in products or processes submitted by suppliers around the world. For the PACE Pilot Award, the judges have selected 22 finalists, including Dukosi, in reflection of innovative products in the automotive space.
